Spiritual Growth

Like any relationship, our relationship with God requires our attention and intention. Our loving God is always calling us into a closer relationship. At St. John’s, we seek to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and development for our parishioners.

Each year, we offer morning and evening bible study sessions, frequently based on one of the Jeff Cavins bible study programs. It’s a good opportunity to enjoy a spirit of community with fellow parishioners while enriching your faith life.

Fr. Dosh offers an Inquiry Class each fall for those interested in joining the Catholic faith. The classes are also open to current Catholics who simply want to learn more about their faith.

Periodically, St. John’s offers opportunities for pilgrimages and other spiritual outings. Typically, these are day-long trips.

From time to time, St. John’s offers special programs, speakers and events to support and enrich the spiritual life of our parishioners. Examples of past programs and events include, An Evening with the St. John’s Bible, Matt Maher in concert, Miracle of Lanciano play, The Grace and Gift of Prayer with Fr. John Klockeman, and more.
