Extra and Co-Curricular Activities are wonderful opportunities for St. John’s children to apply and extend their learning in new and enticing ways. Some activities are offered during the course of the school day and some extensions are offered outside of school hours. Besides being fun and engaging, these activities help children develop artistic expression, creativity, openness to new experiences, craftsmanship, problem solving skills, virtuous character, and so much more! Children who choose to learn beyond the school day often display strong leadership skills and possess a positive self-image. They also create strong friendships and refine their natural interests, skills, and talents.
Extracurricular activities include athletics, cooking, theater/drama, piano lessons, chess, handbell choir, skiing and additional student and parent-driven initiatives.
