ST. John the Baptist Art

Visual Arts

All children experience art through exploration of the art shelves in their classroom environments. When children are of kindergarten age they explore art materials like clay, paint and drawing, with lessons that focus on the art elements of color, line, shape, texture and space.

In the Elementary and Middle School environments, Art is integrated into the our areas of curriculum while presentations are given to children which targets specific visual art components. This includes but is not limited to: color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value and includes two-or three-dimensional, descriptive, implied, or abstract.
