Small Group Bible Study

Join us this spring 2020 for a Bible Study on the Mary! Who is Mary? Why is she so important to Catholics? And why have so many people been devoted to her over the centuries?

Featuring the insightful biblical teaching of Dr. Brant Pitre, this study examines what Scripture, the life of Christ, and the early Church fathers reveal about Mary. By closely examining the connections between the Old and New Testaments, Dr. Pitre presents clear and easily understood explanations about the life and identity of Mary, the Mother of God.

Fr Dosh Speaker Series

In 2019, St. John's Parish began the Fr. Dosh Speaker Series, honoring Fr. Mark Dosh's life-long love of learning and understanding that our faith is not static. People from across the archdiocese are invited to St. John’s to participate. Thank you to all those who gave to our Gala Fund-a-Need at the 2018 St. John’s Gala to bring in these wonderful, world-renowned Catholic speakers to our parish. We are so pleased to be able to honor Fr. Dosh’s legacy in this way and continue into 2020!

At our next event, we welcome George Weigel on Tuesday, March 17th. Please see more on our event page here.

A light reception with begin in the Gathering Place at 6:00pm, followed by the presentation in the church at 7:00pm.
