ST. John the Baptist adult formation

Small Groups

We are excited to announce that St. John the Baptist is launching a parish-wide small group ministry to offer opportunities for parishioners to socialize, pray, study, and grow in their faith together. Small groups typically meet weekly from September to early December. Options this fall include:

- Tuesday morning or evening Small Group (Evangelization and the Acts of the Apostles. See below for more details)
- Tuesday Morning Moms Small Group (Symbolon Series. See below for more details)
- Wednesday Evening Study Small Group while kids are at Faith Formation (Symbolon Series. See below for more details)
- Thursday Evening Study (Symbolon Series. See below for more details)

Another option is to invite friends, neighbors or coworkers and start your own small group.  We can help plan your small group and support you along the way!

Symbolon
All too often we try to live a faith we don't know or understand. This ten-session series is presented by the most trusted and compelling teachers and filmed around the world with stunning cinematography. Symbolon: Knowing the Faith explains the essentials of the Catholic Faith in a way that will inform our minds and inspire our hearts. Click HERE to download the registration form. If you have questions or would like more information, please contact Taylor Gruber.

Evangelization and Acts of the Apostles
Who better to look to for guidance on evangelization than the Apostles and disciples of the early Church? And what better place to read their stories than in the firsthand account of the Acts of the Apostles? In the ten-week series Evangelization and the Acts of the Apostles, Dr. Mary Healy combines insightful biblical study with Church teaching and practical advice to show how modern Catholics can effectively impact their world for Jesus Christ.

Location:   St. John's Gathering Place
